The Legislative, the Executive and the Judicial Branches First - All Others Below (pt. 1)
The constitution of my country, the United States of America, has been the blueprint for this nation’s government since being written by the founding fathers. In the Constitution some of the most important and fundamental guiding principles regarding how our government should be carried out and what every citizen’s relationship to it should be has been written for all to see lest we forget. The people wrote it and stated unequivocally that it was to be a government meant to serve the needs of the people of this nation. It was not meant to be a form of excessive controls over people nor a way to exploit the citizens of this land in favor of lining the pockets of other interests. (image/gif)

More Time, More Money and More Resources
When I was at the University of Connecticut here in America from 2003 – 2006 I went through an experience involving group harassment starting in my sophomore year and ending about when I graduated. There were many things which came out of that experience and writing helps put them in their place. The best and most rewarding for have been insights which came from looking back and analyzing what happened so that I could share what I have learned . That way, others going through the same struggles can look at some of what I’ve written and perhaps find something they may find helpful in their struggle. There are many people overseas who want to come and study here. I write about my experiences to help inform people about the potential realities of prejudice here in the US (image/jpeg)

text ¿Quo Vadis Europa?
Few of the people in my country, America, dispute the fact we live in a nation which savors freedoms and liberties. Often taken for granted, we have so many choices. We can converse with who we choose and when. We communicate online with whomever we wish barring few exceptions. We can send mail to almost anyone. We can hear from any and all political parties during presidential elections - that is given they're Democrat or Republican. (text/plain)

The Last Remaining Rivet
When I was a student at the University of Connecticut (here in America) I became the target of group harassment. The harassment was based on racial profiling because of my race, and my participation in an act of student protest from 1990. The harassment at UConn (the University of Connecticut) happened between 2003 and 2006 while I was matriculated as a student in landscape architecture. As in many cases of harassment, no matter what the reason, most of the people participating were ignorant as to all the facts of why it was being done, and some just were enthusiastic about participating in the behavior itself. What happens at an American College, doesn’t always stay at an American College
Between the years 2003 and 2006, while at the University of Connecticut (here in America), I experienced a series of circumstances which can only be described as bizarre, and which became more bizarre as time went on. This continued until my graduation in June of 2006. It involved harassment, racism, prejudice and more, but it didn’t stop there. There were parameters which would open my mind up to a completely hidden side of college’s underbelly exposed to only a few. (image/jpeg)

text A Reduction In Freedoms (An American Point of View) Sudhama Ranganathan 2010-10-12 1:40 PM
9/11 was a day which shook our country (America) to its core. People who would use religion as an excuse for war attacked our great nation on the grounds of its greatest city and two other locations. In doing so we lost roughly 2988 American citizens, but their memory and the spirit of what that memory means will live with us forever. Years have passed but it is still something all Americans carry in their hearts as a tragedy and there will never be a shortage of tears for the victims of that day. (text/plain)

End of the Bush Dynasty Continues...10/12
Dumkopf Nazi fools have been given power to rule until God's words are fulfilled. (Rev. 17:17)(a.) It is written that the Lord will slay their leader, GHW Bush, the "son of perdition" with the "breath of His mouth" and that He has made my mouth like a sharpened sword for this purpose. text A Pound of Flesh: post 9/11 racism at an American university Sudhama Ranganathan 2010-09-28 12:21 PM
In 1989 racial atrocities in South Africa were front and center issues. Hip Hop groups like Public Enemy, The X-Clan and B.D.P were giving voice to the racial tensions young minorities, like me, were becoming aware of at home. The hypocrisy of the we're all Americans and are treated equally message being pimped to us on TV and the conditions I saw my African American friends living in and the racism I saw them dealing with here in the U.S. ripped me apart like angry dog's teeth. Around the world the reputation of the US as a place of freedom and liberty where anyone can find their dream if they’re willing to work is unmatched. From all over people with dreams come to find fulfillment. That image is very well maintained. It has inspired people to not only want to come here, but to make the nations they’re from more like ours. (text/plain)

text How the CIA Steals Money From Taxpayers © Michael E. Salla, PhD 2010-09-13 12:10 AM
In 1989 Catherine Austin Fitts became Assistant Secretary for Housing in Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). She began to notice money was not properly tracked as it moved between different HUD departments and there was a lack of proper accounting mechanisms to deal with discrepancies in revenue indicated fraud at an alarming level. [28] She attempted to put in place some credible financial tracking mechanisms to identify where the money was going and to identify the responsible individuals and HUD departments, but after 18 months on the job she was suddenly fired by the Bush administration. Fitts was told the day after she left that her financial reforms through ‘place-based financial accounting and statements’ would also be terminated. [29] (text/plain)

The will power behind misguided actions can be powerful to behold. text The Emperor's New Clothes (pt. 2) Sudhama Ranganathan 2010-08-31 10:58 AM
The will power behind misguided actions can be powerful to behold. A glassy eyed individual who believes their behavior is righteous although all information around them says otherwise can be frightening. It is close to the look of one who knows they are doing the right thing except for the tinge of delusion. We need only look to todays headlines for examples of this. Some of our leaders try so hard to convince us misdeeds they had a hand in supporting are somehow justified. No longer do we fret over a statement with spin on it. We just wonder how much spin there is and in what direction it's being spun. Straight talk from our leaders on Capitol Hill is refreshing, but can be hard to find as it is in much of the discussion about The Iraq War. Of course abuse of power isn't limited to elected officials. Another example might be in the story of public school teacher Debra LaFave. Ms. LaFave betrayed the trust of students in her care, the parents who sent their children to her and the institution which entrusted her with it's rules. She knowingly broke the law in seducing her students, and became an example of someone using power to pursue an agenda contrary to what the public expects them to. It's a shallow story but shows how far away from our trust a government employee can travel on a self centered and misguided will. (text/plain)
